Information you give us

- What you are looking for: models, sizes, colours, leathers, hardware, budget and timing, so that we can source and offer the right piece.

4. Who we share it with
We use carefully chosen service providers who act on our instructions:
- Shopify (website hosting and store platform)
- HubSpot (client relationship management, forms and email campaigns; EU data centre)
- Google Workspace (email, documents and file storage)
- Meta / WhatsApp, with 2Chat as our WhatsApp integration provider (messaging)
- Make (automation between the tools above)

- Our banks and payment providers, insurers, lawyers and, where required, public authorities
When a piece is sold through a partner marketplace or trade buyer, we share only what is needed to fulfil that sale.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of these providers process data in the United States or elsewhere outside the EU. Where they do, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. If you are outside the EU, your delivery details are shared with carriers and customs authorities in your country as needed to deliver your piece.
6. How long we keep it
- Client records and correspondence: for the duration of our relationship and three years after our last exchange, after which the record is deleted or anonymised.
- Prospects who never became clients: three years from our last contact.
- Invoices, contracts and accounting records: ten years, as French law requires.
- The register of second-hand goods: for the period required by law.
- Fraud-prevention records: for as long as necessary to protect against repeat attempts, reviewed regularly.
- Marketing consents and objections: until you withdraw or object, plus the time needed to prove we respected your choice.
7. Your rights
You can at any time:
- ask for a copy of the data we hold about you;
- have it corrected or completed;
- ask us to delete it, where we have no legal reason to keep it;
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- object to marketing, including to your details being used as an advertising audience on Meta or Google — we will stop and remove you from those audiences;
- withdraw any consent you have given.
Write to sales@thefrenchhunter.com or message us on WhatsApp. We answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

10. Minors
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes
We will publish any changes on this page with a new date. Where a change affects processing based on your consent, we will ask for it again.
