Delivery & Shipping

Every piece leaves us fully insured, tracked, and requiring a signature on delivery. Nothing is ever left with a neighbour or in a safe place. Below is what to expect from the moment your order is confirmed.

Dispatch

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 24 hours of cleared payment, Monday to Friday. Before a piece leaves us it is inspected a final time and photographed exactly as packed, so there is a dated record of its condition at dispatch. Each bag travels in its Hermès box with dust bag, ribbon, clochette, keys, lock and rain cover where these accompany the piece.

  • United Kingdom and Switzerland — 2 to 4 days, subject to customs
  • United States and Canada — 3 to 5 days
  • Middle East — 3 to 5 days
  • Asia-Pacific — 4 to 6 days

Insurance and security

Every shipment is insured for its full declared value across the entire journey, not to a carrier's standard liability cap. We ship with specialist high-value services and, for certain destinations and values, by secure courier rather than standard express. If a delivery cannot be completed safely, it returns to a depot rather than being left.

Hand delivery on the French Riviera

Across Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes and Saint-Tropez, and in Courchevel during the winter season, we can deliver in person by appointment, frequently the same day. This includes delivery to a hotel, private residence or yacht. If you would prefer to receive a piece this way, tell us before you order.

Duties, taxes and customs

Shipments outside the European Union may attract import duty and local taxes. These are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient. We declare every shipment accurately and at full value. We do not undervalue goods or mark them as gifts, as both practices are illegal and put your piece at risk of seizure.

Exotic skins and CITES

Crocodile, alligator, lizard and ostrich are protected species and require CITES permits to cross international borders. We handle the export documentation, but you should allow additional time for it, typically two to four weeks. Some destinations restrict or prohibit the import of certain species entirely. If you are considering an exotic piece for delivery outside the EU, speak to us first and we will confirm what is possible before you commit.
