Sell or Consign Your Hermès

If you are ready to part with a piece, you have two routes with us. We will tell you honestly which one suits your situation, even when it is the one that earns us less.

Two ways to sell

Outright purchase

We buy the piece from you directly. You know the figure immediately, payment is fast, and the risk of the piece not selling passes to us. The trade-off is that the number is lower than consignment, because we are taking that risk.

Consignment

We market and sell the piece on your behalf for an agreed commission. You net considerably more, but you wait for the right buyer. Most pieces move within weeks; unusual specifications can take longer. Terms are agreed in writing before anything is listed.

How it works

  1. Send photographs. The bag from all sides, the blind stamp, hardware, corners, handles and interior. WhatsApp is easiest.
  2. We come back within 24 hours with a valuation and both options, outright and consignment, so you can compare.
  3. We inspect the piece. Bring it to us on the Riviera, or send it with fully insured collection that we arrange and pay for.
  4. You are paid. By bank transfer, on agreement for an outright purchase, or on completion of the sale for a consignment.

What we buy

Birkin, Kelly, Constance, Kelly Cut, Kelly Pochette, Lindy, Bolide and Picotin, in leather and exotic skins. Brand new and unworn commands the strongest prices, but we buy excellent pre-owned pieces continuously. We are also interested in vintage and discontinued specifications, which often sell for more than owners expect.

What moves the price

Model and size, leather or skin, colour, hardware, condition, year, and completeness. A piece with its box, clochette, keys, lock, rain cover and receipt is worth materially more than the same bag without them. Not ready to sell?

If you want to know what a piece is worth for insurance, succession or your own information rather than to sell it, we produce written valuation reports.

Discretion

We never disclose who a piece came from. Nothing about a sale is discussed publicly, and pieces are listed without any reference to their previous owner.
